Awakenings
I once heard a message so powerful it had to have come from the realms only angels can cross. As I sat in my living room with a broken heart and tears pouring down my face from years of pain, I surrendered myself to receiving the Light.
I heard a clear message that pierced my heart.
“WAKE UP, OH SLEEPER. You have been on the other side of the fence for too long. Arise from the place you are, and come back to your first love! …”
Pastor Greg Laurie’s message tore open my soul and awakened in me the love of something so powerful it cannot be described with mere words.
I had never experienced this before. Would I ever I again? I had to know. The next day, for the first time, I asked one simple prayer …God, speak to me. With the Bible on my lap, I did what I had never done in my life before. I opened it to read …with a pure heart.
And just like that, I connected to the other side, as God spoke to me for the first time.

How could I be reading the same words I had heard Greg Laurie speak on the radio just the day before? I felt a completely new and extremely powerful feeling—the sense of a presence that comes from beyond this dimension. I felt a connection that came from pure light …pure love …and a hope that there is truly something beyond what human eyes can see.
